Moth To A Flame

In business since 1999, Moth to a Flame has won a reputation for distinctive textured colourful candles. The candles are designed and handmade by Larry Kinsella in his workshop in Bennettsbridge, Co. Kilkenny.

Originally from Co. Wexford, Larry studied food business and worked in the food industry for several years but it was time spent managing a large candle factory that introduced him to chandlery. With an interest and flair for craft and design,  he developed and made a range of candles from the garage of his Kilkenny home and exhibited them at the 1999 Showcase trade fair. The response from trade buyers was so strong that he launched Moth to a Flame and opened a workshop and showroom in Bennettsbridge.
