All Ireland Air Ambulance - AIAA

As you may be aware Ireland is the only country within the EU that does not have a dedicated Air Ambulance service.  We are looking for as little or as much as you can donate to help with the launch of this helicopter service.  Once up and running it would be self-funding i.e. fund raising events, donations and Air Ambulance Lottery.  This means the people of Ireland would have a free Air Ambulance Service, which in time will cover the whole of Ireland.

We are trying to put a total of 3 Air Ambulances in the air.  The first one will be placed in Kerry, the second in Enniskillen in a five-day week, 8 hours per day initially.  The next funded step will cover 7 days a week up to 12 hours per day.  The next part of the project is to place one in the Waterford area and one also north of Belfast.  This gives us full coverage to the main regional hospitals.  Patients will then be within the golden hour
