Historic Sites abound, with Gallarus and Riasc. Cycling, horse riding, fishing—either deep sea, boat or shore angling, hill walking and nature trails are all nearby. A visit to the famous Blasket Islands from Dunquin pier is a must and a real special treat. For the more adventurous a climb on Mount Brandon or a sea trip to Skellig Rock awaits.
