For example the practical session of the majority of Manual Handling courses is demonstrating how to lift a box, which is perfectly acceptable as the principle for lifting is the same for all items. Our instructors find out in advance what items are generally used by the employees and use these items in the practical session. This ensures that on behalf of the employer we are doing as much as possible to make sure the safety training is effective.
