Sue Gifford

Sue Gifford - The painting studio in Co. Cork produces a creative selection of items for the home and beyond. Originally from West Sussex, I attained a BA(Hons) Degree in Printed Textiles at West Surrey College of Art & Design, Farnham. After studying I worked with various design companies in London dealing with both modern and antique furniture, textiles, and accessories, and instinctively continued to paint. Here in Cork I took part in the Munster Interiors Exhibition held at Silversprings in 2008, which was followed by an article in the Munster Interiors Magazine, and now work with both interior designers and private clients to produce pieces of painted furniture, artwork, and interiors, all specifically designed and executed to requirements. Items of furniture have also been shown in The Irish Examiner 2008, illustrating pieces for a showhouse (interior designer, Catherine Troy of Chameleon Designs Ltd).
