About Teen-Line Ireland
We are a national freephone helpline for young people in Ireland, who may feel the need for emotional support. We provide a confidential, secure, non judgmental listening service for young people to express their feelings.
Do you sometimes feel like you just want to chat to someone who will really listen to you ? Maybe there's something bothering you and you want to get it off your chest. You might be feeling fed-up, alone or you feel cut off from the rest of the world. We understand this and that is why we are here. Our volunteers are ordinary every-day people who understand that young people need to be heard and we are here to listen.
You can ring us 8-11pm Monday to Friday and we will listen. We won't judge you, give out to you, get annoyed or try tell you what to do. We will listen to you and try help you figure out what's the best option for you.
