Nomad is ethical cashmere, herded, collected and finished in Mongolia. Nomadic herders tend goats all winter in temperatures as low as -40 degrees C in tents like this. By making the finished product in Mongolia the revenue is held in Mongolia, as opposed to the raw material being exported and finished elsewhere. Check that your cashmere jumper says Made in Mongolia.
