About FotoFrame
Hailing from the edge of East Galway, from a small village by the name of Ballygar, Ken began his photographic career shortly after the death of his father in 2003.
Using it primarily as a form of relaxation, Ken soon saw the opportunity for a career stemming from his love of the lens. After several years as a semi-professional photographer, in mid 2008, Ken set up Fotoframe, a business primarily focused on wide format printing and framing, with a photography service bolted on.
After a successful thirteen months in his home town of Ballygar, Ken decided a move to Roscommon would bring bigger and better things for Fotoframe, but, with the growing severity of the financial crisis still tightening its grip, Ken was forced to make the hard decision to close down the shop in Roscommon in early 2010. But, far from seeing it as the end, the opportunity seemed to present to begin anew as Ken Nolan Photography, basing from his home in Mount Talbot, Co. Roscommon..
With a renewed emphasis on the art of photography, and with all the services on offer from fotoframe’s days now as the add on, Ken sees this as a new beginning and looks forward to what the future has to offer
Ken Nolan has been involved in the photographic industry professionally for several years now, with a keen specialisation in the sports photography arena.
His work has also brought him into contact with the press and public relations elements, and he is to be seen the length and breadth of the country covering sporting events and social occasions.
Using Nikon equipment, with all post processing done on a MacPro tower setup, using a full suite of Adobe software. Photo print output comes courtesy of two large format Epson printers, with 44†print widths and canvas printing options, Ken can bring you through the whole process of getting your photo taken and presented, quickly and professionally.
