The MonteNotte Hotel

On 4th February 1980 U2 performed in the hotel as part of their U2-3 Irish/London Tour. Internationally renowned music photographer David Corio was present at the gig and the hotel sourced a couple of his photographs taken on the night, which are on display in the hotel lobby. The photographer confirmed that this image was taken on the roof of the hotel in early February 1980. The same image was used as the cover shot for the band's book U2 by U2, published in 2006.
