We can trace our history back to John May Aerials established in Dublin in 1964. TVs then were very different, heavy lumps of wooden furniture packed with valves that took an age to warm up. You could have a screen size of up to a whopping 19 and bask in the full glory of grainy black and white transmissions. Any picture rolling and distortion, or to use the technical term, being On the Blink could generally be cured with a hefty thump to either side and one on top for good measure.
